Where/When is the Event?

  • Day 0: Tuesday, August 11th, 11:00am-3:15pm (CDT) (please note this is included in the All Access Pass only)
  • Day 1: Wednesday, August 12th, 11:am-5:00pm (CDT)
  • Day 2: Thursday, August 13th, 11:00am-4:05pm (CDT)

What Can I Expect?

To join Digital Summit At Home use your unique attendee link (no password required).

Please note attendee links are per attendee only and will be locked if shared with multiple users.

Registered attendees are welcome to access the event via their unique links at any time (please note only All Access attendees will be able to join the Masterclasses on Tuesday). Attendees are welcome to join a waiting room as early as 15 minutes prior to the session starting.

No need to download or install anything prior. The event will automatically open in a web browser. It’s recommended that attendees use the most updated version of Firefox or Chrome.

No video or mic capabilities needed.

To attend a webinar on your tablet, you can use the BigMarker attendee app or enter via your browser. It is not recommended to join via mobile.

  • Access to Sessions: Digital Summit At Home will have several break-outs organized by tracks. Passes include all tracks on both days.
  • Q&A with speakers: The live speaker Q&A for breakouts will be around 10-15 minutes and take place towards the end of the session. Attendees will be asked to send in any questions through a chat feature and our emcee will select a few for the speaker to answer.
  • Interactive Networking Lounges & Vendor Gallery: Join our dedicated slack channels to connect with fellow attendees and sponsors.
  • Post-Event Session Recordings: Once the event wraps up, you’ll receive access to all session recordings.
  • Masterclasses: Interactive, deep-dive workshops taught by the brightest minds in marketing and technology. Must be an All Access pass holder to attend these sessions.

To close out a jam-packed day of learning, relax with your fellow attendees at our virtual happy hour! We’ll have the awesome DJ Drake supplying the latest tunes and taking your song requests in a nostalgic “Total Request Live” format. In the new world we’re living in, DJ Drake will kick things off by sharing how live music is growing community and bringing people together in creative ways today. Come prepared to learn a little, unwind and dance!

Join our Digital Summit Community Facebook group! Connect with our DS community across the US and worldwide.

All networking for Digital Summit at Home will be done through our private slack workspace. Below we’ve outlined instructions on how to join, plus top tips if you’re new to slack! (If you have not received your link to join, please reach out to our registration team.)

  • Click our unique link to the networking space.
  • Slack will prompt you to enter in any email to join the workspace. If you’d like to connect your pre-existing slack account with this workspace, make sure to use the same email address. This will trigger a confirmation email.
  • Click the ‘Confirm Email’ prompt. Slack will ask you to ‘Create an Account’. At this step, login with your Name and normal password credentials.
  • You’re in! Feel free to use slack in website format or download the app to your computer or phone. Check out our Slack Guide to learn more about how slack will be used for DS at Home.
  • Click our unique link to the networking space.
  • Slack will prompt you to create an account with your email address. This will trigger a confirmation email.
  • Verify your email address and finish the account login process by filling out your Name and Password.
  • You’re in! Feel free to use slack in website format or download the app to your computer or phone. Check out our Slack Guide to learn more about how slack will be used for DS at Home.

I’m in!

Once you’ve joined our DS at Home Slack Workspace, feel free to click around and get a feel for the platform and our channels. If you’re new to Slack, be sure to check out Slack’s Help Center for a user guide & troubleshooting.

  • Profile & Username: Manage your profile and username settings by clicking your name in the upper left corner. We recommend updating with your Full Name, Company and anything else relevant that might benefit your networking experience.
  • Threads: Start a thread by hovering over a message and clicking the chat symbol
  • Tag an Attendee: Tag or respond to someone directly using the @.
  • Direct Messages: Use the direct message feature on the left hand side to start a private message with a fellow attendee or staff member.
  • Mute Channels: Right click and select ‘Mute Channel’ to temporarily turn off messages.
  • Manage Notification Settings: Manage email and notification settings by clicking your name in the upper left corner. Select View Profile > Menu Button next to ‘Edit Profile’ > Account settings > Notifications.

I joined the slack workspace, but signed out. How do I get back in?
Visit the sign in page here using the workspace link ‘dsathome’. Use the same username and password as your original account or request a password reset.

It still won’t let me in!
If you did a password reset with the email on file and it won’t let you in, you likely didn’t click our unique link to join just yet. We would recommend signing up via the unique link or shoot us an email to receive that.

Can I share the slack link with others outside the event?
The slack networking space is for Digital Summit at Home attendees only. Please note that we will be monitoring our attendee list and remove anyone that is not registered for or associated with Digital Summit at Home.

Can I DM anyone within the event?
Absolutely! You can find the direct message feature on the left hand menu.

Can I set up my own channel around a specific topic?
All of our slack channels are set up ahead of time. However, if you feel there’s an area of interest that’s currently missing, feel free to reach out to our team.

Someone is violating the rule and conduct outlined in the terms and conditions. Who do I get in touch with?

How do I disable email notifications from Slack?

  • The upper left hand side has a dropdown that says ‘DS at Home’. Click ‘View Profile’.
  • On your profile there will be a three dot menu button with more options. Select Account & Profile > Notifications to update email notification settings.

Once you’ve clicked your unique link, you’re all set! There’s no username or password required. The Digital Summit at Home Lobby will have links to the Masterclasses on Day 0 (included in All Access Passes) and Day 1 & 2 sessions on the agenda.
